According to recently released figures, more the 1.6 million people have achieved Microsoft certification worldwide.

Microsoft Certified System Engineer on Windows 2000 (MCSE) 272,406;
Microsoft Certified System Administrator on Windows 2000 (MCSA) 153,755;
Microsoft Certified Desktop Technician on Windows XP (MCDST) 7,077;
Microsoft Certified Database Administrator on SQL Server 2000 (MCDBA) 132,57;
Microsoft.Net Microsoft Certified Solution Developer (MCSD) 15,463;
